Mostly Harmless (hiker)
Mostly Harmless, also known as Denim and Ben Bilemy, was an unidentified hiker whose body was found on July 23, 2018 in Big Cypress National Preserve.
Background: Mostly Harmless started his journey on the Appalachian Trail in April 2017, from Harriman State Park near New York City. On the way, he met several people who took pictures of him. In January 2018, Mostly Harmless had reached northern Florida.
Discovery of body: On July 23, 2018, Mostly Harmless was found dead in his tent by two hikers in Big Cypress National Preserve. He had no ID or credit card with him.
Investigation: The autopsy couldn't determine the cause of death. His DNA or fingerprints didn't match any database. His backpack contained $3500 in cash and a notebook filled with notes about Screeps, an online programming game.
