The Visit is an upcoming 2015 American psychological horror comedy film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The film stars Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Peter McRobbie and Benjamin Kanes. The film is scheduled to be released on September 11, 2015, by Universal Pictures. Life appears normal for two siblings until their mother leaves them at their grandparents' house while she's on vacation: the siblings discover that their grandparents' behavior has become deeply disturbing. Despite being warned not to come out of their room past 9:30 P.M., their curiosity coaxes them out and they realize that something terribly wrong is taking place. They fail to convince their mother to come to their rescue and are left on their own to face the untold horrors that surround their now seemingly-evil elders.
