Homicide Hunter

Homicide Hunter (also known as Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda) is an American documentary television series showcasing the career of retired Colorado Springs police detective Joseph Kenda. It debuted October 25, 2011 on Investigation Discovery and has been renewed for a fifth season expanded to 20 shows. Premise: In each episode, Kenda recounts a murder investigation on which he worked, going from the 911 call to the final resolution of the case. Through re-enactments, discussions with investigation teams, and interviews with victims' families and other involved persons, the show highlights Kenda's successes with his 400 homicide case history and 92 percent solution rate. Kenda and an unseen voiceover professional handle the narration. Actor Carl Marino portrays Kenda in the re-enactments.
