Fero’s Bar massacre
Fero's Bar massacre occurred on the 17 October 2012. The bodies of five people where found by the Denver fire department after a fire at Fero's bar and grill in Glendale Colorado a suburb of Denver. It was determined to been stabbed multiple times about 170 dollars where missing from the bar so the motive was determined to be a robbery. The arson was used to cover up the crime. In the beginning the police had no suspects but later a witness who claimed to have seen the murders in progress identified the perpetrators as Dexter Lewis, Joseph Hill and Lynell Hill. This led to their arrest and prosecution the Hill brothers pleaded guilty to all counts and where sentenced to 5 life terms and 70 years. Lewis pleaded not guilty and was tried and convicted in August 2015 and was sentenced to life without parole plus 180 years after the jury rejected the death sentence.
Fatalities:
-Young Suk Fero, 63, of Aurora;
-Daria M. Pohl, 21, of Denver;
-Kellene Fallon, 44, of Denver;
-Ross Richter, 29, of Overland Park, Kan.;
-Tereasa Beesley, 45, of Denver.
