Cultural Catholic

A cultural catholic is a person who identifies with Catholic traditions but does not actively practice the religion. Some cultural Catholics may still attend church at special occasions, such as Christmas, Easter, infant baptism, weddings and funerals. my uncle's wife is a cultural catholic (or just lazy on going as often) and my uncle, who is a catholic convert, wants to go 24/7. kinda like how i'm lazy on going to church and usually just go thru the motions (like my aunt-in-law) while my mom who isn't LDS wants me to remain as active in the church as possible
